Talk:Peercoin developer notes
Simple question: why is "Peercoin Genesis hash hex" bytes order in inverse order of "Peercoin Genesis hash" bytes ?
Thanx for your answer.
The "hash hex" is in big-endian (the usual way to write a number) like in the source code and in block explorers.
The "hash" is the binary bytes as they are stored in the raw block format. And in the raw block format, the numbers are in little-endian.
Thanx for your explanation glv, updated page.
